Is there much difference between the F2 and the F6?
I am the happy owner of several Domke bag products. I have the F-1X, F2, F4-AF and the F-803 satchel. I used to have an F-5X bag, but sold it with a compact digital camera system.
The F6 looks to be sort of a cross between the larger F1-X and maybe the F3, but it is that different from the original F2 in many respects?
Question for Mr. Domke - why do your bags cost about double up here in Canada as to what they sell for in the States?

The F6 (subjective impression) is about the same volume as the F3, but arranged differently. It's not as deep as the other Domkes, closer maybe to the F5xB in depth. Of all my Domke bags, it's unquestionably my least-used. (F1x, F2, F3x, F5xB, F5xA, F6, F7, F801, F802, F804, F2 Backpack).

I mostly revolve among the F1, F7 and F802 (with ungripped bodies and only 1 big lens).

superbaldguy, welcome from another newbie.
You're right about the Cdn price. Frankly it's horrible.
It kept me from buying for a long time.
When I finally bought they discounted the price for me at Henry's Mississauga. Frankly, I thought it was to get me out of the store. ;)

You are right they are a bit expensive, but I love my old F2.It's tough, it's roomy, it carries what I need, it doubles as a travel bag, and it looks nothing like most other Camera bags! Yep, I love it!

I have been using my old F2 for quite some time now and i love using it, it carries all my stuff and is very easy and supportive for me to carry and hold.

I have one of each. The F6 is fairly much an F2 with no part pouches and just a bit less amount in the primary wallet. Size are just a bit reduced, and size is about 1.5 inches wide reduced. The one zippered front side wallet maintains a lot, and creates up for not having the part pouches to an level.
