Default Canon 5d Mark ii + Steadicam Pilot no video signal

hello, is there a certain cable to use for outputting video from the 5d to the steadicam pilot monitor? I have tested steadicam pilot from a different video source and the signal worked to the monitor on the steadicam but the 5d wont show video only "no signal" but the headphone to rca im using will output to a regular tv from the 5d. any info would be greatly appreciated........

edit: disregard all u have to do is press the record button and it changes the output from hd to sd and the monitor comes on. lol

Smile Steadicam Pilot cable for Canon EOS 5D

Yes, there is a special cable required to output video from your Canon 5D to the Steadicam Pilot monitor. It is part #804-0110 and it is listed as Video RCA-to-TRRS 12-inch cable. It has a suggested retail price of $49.95. Good luck and good shooting! Best regards, Jason Schneider

Default Video cable for Steadicam Pilot

We suggested the cable #804-0110 because it is designed to work for your application and there should be no problems. It is readily available and in stock--you can call Harry at 631-273-2500 , extension 3161 to order one by credit card. Best of luck, Jason Schneider

Smile Canon EOS 5D Mark II availability

This acclaimed full-frame DSLR camera has been available for well over 2 years now and has established itself as a standard among pros and serious shooters, especially those specializing in HD video capture, where it performs very well. The 5D Mark II is readily available new or used from leading retailers such as B&H and Adorama, and through eBay or Amazon as well. Good luck, and good shooting, Jason Schneider

The Steadicam Merlin street price 799 would be a logical choice for you but its maximum load carrying capacity when used alone is 5 pounds. By adding the accessory arm and vest, street price about 1,500 the maximum capacity is increased to 7-1/2 pounds and that will definitely work for you. The next step up is the Steadicam Pilot, which has a load carrying capacity of 10 pounds and has a list price of 4,095. Both models are excellent choices. Good luck and good shooting Best regards, Jason Schneider

This coming Monday December 3rd we're planning to buy Steadicam Pilot and need to know that we need to buy extra accessories for the proper functioning of the Pilot (weights extras battery mount type etc) will use two different types of camera with wide angle lenses , microphone, lights etc.. We appreciate the support of its expert Steadicam Pilot so we can make a proper purchase. Thank you very much!

Camera one we'll use:

Canon 5D Mark ii (with its own battery inserted in the camera)

With the added weight of these accessories: With Gran Angular Lens, Microphone Module, LCD Ligth, Matte Box

Camera two we'll use:

Sony FX1 (with high capacity battery NP-F970 inserted into the video camera)

With the added weight of these accessories: With Gran Angular Lens, Microphone Module, LCD Ligth, Matte Box

- We are thinking BUY "AA Battery Mount" Steadicam Pilot.

- Please could you tell us if there is any way to use mounting NP-F970 InfoLITHIUM batteries 7.2 V and we have several of these batteries by providing much duration.

- What are the advantages and disadvantages of buying AA Battery Mount For cameras that we use? ...

Sorry for all these questions, but for us it is very important to ACHIEVE THE PERFECT BALANCE WITH DYNAMIC PILOT STEADICAM.

Note: You have staff who speak Spanish? ...

best regards,

Ulises
