Date: Sunday, September 11th - Friday, September 16th 2022
Location: Historic Banning Mills, 205 Horseshoe Dam Rd. Whitesburg, GA 30185
Steadicam presents the iconic Banning Mills Gold Workshop – an immersive experience that offers each participant a wealth of practical and theoretical training experiences to raise the professional level of their operating. It is recommended that attendees have some basic training and operating experience to maximize this unique opportunity.
Attendees will work with larger Steadicam rigs like the M-1 and Archer2 with generally one experienced instructor for every four students and a maximum of 20 students total. The first section of the workshop is based around the Tiffen Steadicam Short Course syllabus but quickly moves on to more complex shot building and sophisticated techniques like the use of vehicles and other moving platforms to expand and deepen the operators’ skill sets. The majority of the workshop time is spent actually working with Steadicam rigs with some of the best operators and instructors available.
The cost of the workshop is $4,250.00 and includes instruction, equipment, room and board at the historic Banning Mills lodge in Whitesburg, Georgia. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from the workshop site. Shuttle services and ride share services are available at the Atlanta airport and we will make an effort to connect attendees who wish to carpool prior to the event.
THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES:
