This is the best tripod I have seen--especially in this price range

This is the best tripod I have seen--especially in this price range. I just spent a week in an intermediate/advanced photography class at John C. Campbell Folk School. The Great Smoky Mountains photographer Don McGowan was the teacher, and he seemed to enjoy using it. When a photographer of that stature enjoys using it, it must be good!

Totally happy with purchase.

Really excellent tripod. Super quality construction yet 6lbs is light enough to throw around. Smooth pans and tilts and great level bubbles where you need them. Did I say it goes up to 6' tall or down to a couple of feet or that you get two camera plates? I love this thing, we use them for video cameras during webcasts. We will be buying more for sure.

I don't know much about this industry, but I do know build quality. This tripod is tough.

Awesome Tripod!!!

I had high expectations after ordering this tripod and I wasn't disappointed. This tripod has everything that I need to get started in my post retirement hobby without breaking the bank, and I'm sure that someone on a professional level would too appreciate it as well. first of all it's well built, heavy duty without being too heavy, at 6.7 lbs it's light in comparison to some of the higher end tripods that Davis & Sanford makes. And at the maximum height of 72" I don't have to bend over with my bad back to get that great shot, or use my camera to video record my grandchild's concert. The tripod comes with a heavy duty very fluid 3 way head that is as smooth as silk when panning, and get this, it comes with a ten year warranty! Also included is a very durable storage bag, an extra quick release plate, three built in bubble levels and a allen wrench to adjust the tension on the quick release lock as you please. It supports up to 13 lbs and it comes with adjustable leg clamps, a center post that has a hook to add extra weight for stability if needed, and you can adjust each leg to different angles and as low as 8" for tight macro photography. I absolutely hit a home run with purchasing this tripod after looking for weeks, and so will you!
