Like the rest of Tiffen’s Emmy® & Academy Award®- winning filters, the Blue Streaks are crafted in the USA with optical grade glass. To promote long life and image clarity, only Tiffen filters are manufactured using the exclusive Colorcore Technology® process that laminates the filter substrate between two parallel elements of optical glass, then grinds and polishes them to a precise tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch flatness.

The Blue Streak Filter from Tiffen is a special effects filter designed to render a Blue light ray from a point light source creating the classic look of an anamorphic lens. The filter utilizes Tiffen ColorCore Technology® to encapsulate parallel optical elements within the filter.

Rotating the filter allows the user to adjust the angle and direction of the streak of the light ray to suit your composition or desired effect. The filter is constructed from clear optical-grade glass for maintained image clarity.

Uses Tiffen’s ColorCore® process to create durable, consistent and long-lasting filters.
Optical glass construction and clear filter substrate help to maintain the original image quality and do not affect the overall color or contrast.
Available in all screw-in and MPTV sizes.
Parallel optical elements within the glass produce a single blue ray of light from point light sources, strong highlights, reflective materials, or metallic surfaces.
