Introducing Dark Contrast, the only contrast adjusting filters that lower contrast by dimming highlights, without darkening shadows. They meticulously target highlights and hotspots to tone them down, while maintaining detail in the shadow areas. Blacks stay black with minimal resolution loss and no color shift. Stronger densities can assist for a day-for-night look.

Dark Contrast filters have the unique ability to lower contrast by selectively targeting highlights and hotspots and toning them down while maintaining shadow details. Unlike other filters which reduce contrast by spreading light from the highlights into the shadow areas, Dark Contrasts retain shadow details and keep the blacks truly black—without resolution loss or color shift. The stronger strengths can desaturate colors and darken highlights for a monochromatic look which can be useful in creating day for night.
