The fabric produces a unique distressed and weathered look right from the start.
The RuggedWear classic bags feature high-quality, weather-tough, durable cotton canvas that is treated with special non-solvent, environmentally friendly waxes to afford the fabric a lifelong resistance to inclement weather. The special formula allows the fabric to breathe while the waxes produce a unique, timeless, weathered, distressed patina finish. By using the included refinishing wax, bags can be restored to its original finish quickly and easily.
All the great features of the popular Domke F-5XA in a bag to fit today's popular digital SLR cameras. Durable, water-resistant breathable cotton canvas bag with convenient pockets for cell phone and MP3 player and shoulder strap.
Ideal For: Cameras, lenses, cell phone, MP3 player and accessories. Great for business and travel necessities.
Note: DO NOT MACHINE WASH your RuggedWear Bag! A periodic cleaning with a hose, damp cloth or soft scrub brush for heavy dirt is all that is needed. Your shower works equally as well. Sometimes a mild bar or flake soap (not detergent) or even Saddle soap will remove stubborn stains. Bare areas can be refinished with our RuggedWear Wax refinishing ointment and left to absorb for a day or so (a hair dryer will speed the process) which will restore the wax finish.

Just what I expected.
This is a great bag very well built with just the right amount of padding. When I say just the right amount of padding I was looking for a bag that had less than the usual camera bag because I didn't want a bulky heavy bag. I use this as my walk around bag for my Olympus E-P1 I carry this bag every day and it is holding up very well. It is also just big enough to hold my 40D + 17-55mm F2.8 with the dividers folded flat.
I bought this for my Panasonic GF1, and essentially my micro 4/3's kit. I intend to have two lenses, the 14-45 and 20, and this will have room for a tiny giotto rocket blower, too. Right now, I only have the 20, so it's too big for just those things. Well, rather I have extra space. The small accessory sleeve has room for flat items like memory cards and microfiber cloths. For kicks, I could use this to carry my 40D+sigma 30 without a problem too. Unmounted, I could fit a 50/1.8 too (or the blower, heh). I think I will also use this when I want to use that combo on the go. The strap is also very nice. A bit too grippy though, as I like to sling it forward to pull stuff out of my bag. The biggest reason this didn't get 5 stars? The velcro is far too massive for such a small bag. It's already got zipper protection, did they need to make TWO huge velcro patches? It requires two hands to quickly open because my contents are so light. I decided to tape over a little over half the velcro and it is much much better now. If you're worried about security, there's a zipper for the main compartment. You can keep your memory cards in there. Cloths or loose change I wouldn't mind if anyone managed to pick those. If anyone managed to unzip this w/o my knowledge while I was conscious and wearing it, they deserve whatever I have inside. *EDIT* I meant to come back to this a while ago, but the front sleeve is very very easy for things to fall out. It's almost useless for anything not flat (basically, paper, and a maybe a pen). I have knocked down a start because it has been vastly annoying. It is more a 3.5 star rating, but I feel it's more of a poor design choice to keep it at 4 stars.
Great compact bag for mirrorless camera... Alright I fit my d750 DSLR with vertical grip and 35mm f1.4 lens. Very nice. Not for traveling, but for going out with friends - for sure
I love this bag. Classy construction. Holds my Sony a6000, kit lens, 50mm, 35mm, and 55-210 zoom, plus my Ricoh GR, and spare batteries for each. I would not carry them in the field this way, but I keep the bag in the car (temperature permitting) and draw out what I intend to use or unpack it except for a single change of lens if I intend to actually carry the bag. People with more professional equipment may want more extensive protection, but the bag fits my needs in look and function, as compactness was a main factor in my choice of cameras.
