The Lowel GL-1 Power LED is a powerful, handheld, focusable & dimmable, photo-quality tungsten color light. It was designed as an innovative tool for the Wedding/Event and location portrait still photographer. With high ISO cameras allowing them to shoot in lower light locations, the GL-1 puts just the right amount of light exactly where they need it. From up close, or at a distance. Its dimming & focusing versatility also makes it popular with architectural time-lapse light painting photographers.

Notes on GL-1 Power LED output:

• All LEDs have higher output when first turned on, and most take aprox 20 minutes to stabilize to their consistant output (aprox 15% less). During this time, color remains stable.

• Because GL-1 is used primarily in very short still-photo lighting bursts (10-15 seconds), its max. output in that context will be higher than after warmup time. The output chart is measured from a light that was just turned on. For stabilized output, deduct 15% from readings.

Returns

Return requests for orders placed on the Tiffen website or through our sales team can be made within 30 days of receipt of your order except custom orders. Items must be in the original packaging, unused and in new condition.

All returns require a Return Authorization form which can be obtained by contacting us at https://tiffen.com/pages/contact with your Tiffen order # and/or receipt.  Once you submit a request, a return authorization with instructions will be provided to you. Returns without a return authorization will not be accepted.

Tiffen will pay for return shipping on any orders with errors caused by Tiffen.  We must be notified within the 30 day return window. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer in all other instances. Returns for refunds to the original payment method only, no credit or exchanges.

Warranty

Defective items are covered by our Warranty policy.  Warranties vary by product, more information can be found below. Tiffen warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal conditions of use and service for the stated period of time listed below and based on the date of original purchase.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. 

Tiffen's obligation under its warranty policy is limited at its option, to either repair or replace the defective product. If the product has been superseded, warranty replacement can be made with a current model of the same quality performing the equivalent function. 

This warranty is expressly made in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including specifically without limiting the generality thereof, any implied warranty or merchantability, and of all other obligations or liabilities.  Tiffen shall under no circumstances be liable for any consequential damages, expenses or losses or damages resulting from a defect of its product. 

Please submit all warranty inquiries at the link below.  Make sure to include a copy of your purchase receipt (no order or shipping confirmation), Tiffen order # (if ordered directly from Tiffen), a detailed description of the issue and how it happened as well as photos and/or narrated video to support your written description of the issue.
